Become a CFC Agency - 2008 APPLICATIONS (DEADLINE 4/14/08) - CLOSED 2008 DEADLINE - April 14, 2008 by 6:00pm NO EXCEPTIONS! All charities MUST apply annually regardless of whether or not the charity was accepted in the previous campaign cycle. All applications must meet the federal regulation in accordance with 5 CFR Part 950; Solicitation of Federal Civilian and Uniformed Personnel for Contributions to Private Voluntary Organizations and all subsequent OPM memorandums. Agencies must submit a timely application each year; and they must meet all eligibility requirements each year. LOCAL AGENCIES: Local Agencies seeking inclusion in the Fall 2008 campaign, can now download the 2008 application below. FEDERATIONS: Federations (umbrella organizations with at least 15 member agencies) can apply on behalf of their member organizations, but the application criteria for each member organization must be complete and available for review upon request. Below is the Federation Application and an EXCEL worksheet. Please complete the MANDATORY worksheet listing your agency and the agencies you are supporting. Save the worksheet under your federation name and e-mail to Amy Ervin (email) or put on disk and send with your application.
PLEASE REVIEW THE APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS CARFEULLY. Applications must be mailed to: Applications will not be accepted via Fax or other means of electronic transfer. All required documentation and attachments must be complete and submitted before the application deadline, April 14, 2008. Missing or out of date documents will not be accepted during the appeals process. All local application eligibility decisions will be mailed May 2, 2008. Also, the CFC will be contacting charities who will receive funding from the 2007 campaign by March 17. An e-mail/letter will be sent to you regarding your funding status. Nationally and Internationally (your agency has offices/presence in 15 or more states and/or a foreign country), applications are made directly to the Office of Personnel Management's CFC Operations Office (www.opm.gov/cfc). The deadline for National Applications can be mid-January or even earlier. Typically, local applications can be made starting mid-March, with a deadline of mid-April, to be included in the upcoming Fall campaign. Locally, notices of the upcoming application are sent out around March 1st annually, and a workshop for applicants is held around March 15th annually.
